        Pool & Spa owners warned of health risks

 
Queensland Health is warning residential and commercial pool/spa owners of the health risks of poor maintenance, following two recent cases of Legionnaires disease in south east Queensland.
The cases were persons who stayed at a friends place.
Senior Director Population Health Dr Linda Selvey said testing of the pool  showed the water contained the Legionella bacteria & algae that causes the disease.
